DOST-NCR RSTW 2026 x Wandering Minds: Interactive Science Exhibits Philippines
Wandering Minds joined the Department of Science and Technology – National Capital Region (DOST-NCR) Regional Science and Technology Week 2026, held from August 6–8, 2026 at Valenzuela City People's Park, bringing a hands-on STEM experience to students, educators, families, and the public.
Hands-On Science Discovery Experience
The Wandering Minds: Hands-on Science Discovery Experience featured interactive science exhibits covering electricity, physics, engineering, renewable energy, optics, marine science, history, and innovation. Visitors explored exhibits such as the Plasma Lamp, Tesla Coil, Van de Graaff Generator, Bernoulli's Blower, Digital Microscope, Renewable Energy Models, Ocean Zones, and interactive discovery boards.
The WanderLab Science Show
The experience also included the WanderLab Science Show, where participants enjoyed live science demonstrations and audience interaction, making complex STEM concepts easier to understand through real-world, hands-on learning.
Mascots and Added Experiences
As an added educational feature, Wandering Minds introduced experiences such as the Astronaut Food Experience, Penguin Mascot Meet & Greet, WanderLab Scientist Mascot, and Jurassic T-Rex Mascot & Dinosaur Puppets.
